Nokia Touchscreen Creates Texture Illusion : Physical feedback can’t be ignored when discussing future user experience across devices and surfaces. Be it mobile or installation, users can only appreciate the additional guidance through haptic sensation (if we employ it smartly ofcourse). The technology is getting refined. I’m personally an Apple guy, but the first time I used a friend’s Droid and it vibrated subtly in my hand with each keystroke, I appreciated the feeling. I have yet to touch a screen and feel a texture simulation though.
